Impellers or shoes are assembled on the rotor of a VSI impact crusher. Impellers are rotating with the rotor and throwing the materials out onto the anvils in high rpm. The Impellers withsand very harsh abrasion from the materials in the process.

1, Chrome white iron

2, Chrome white iron with ceramic inserts (extended life)
